S & K
Our semi-custom Filoli invitation suite got its name from this editorial shoot held at the Filoli Gardens in California. I was asked by AnneMarie at Something Blue Wedding Planning Services to provide custom invitations for this shoot. The goal was to achieve a French garden vibe. With muted pastels, the color palette and textures were the focus here. I opted to design the Filoli suite featuring a main invitation on heavy-weight card stock with a deckled edge and custom calligraphy in dark navy ink. For the details card, I went with a muted blush paper to add interest to the palette. The RSVP card featured our custom leafy wreath to match and coordinate with the main invite. For the RSVP envelope, custom calligraphy was featured on a very dusty blue envelope, along with a bright array of vintage stamps. I love the pops of peachy/orange. Lastly, the main envelope was navy with white ink in custom calligraphy and vintage stamps as well, and don't forget the vellum envelope liner. This makes the entire suite feel airy and light. What a dreamy way to invite your guests to your wedding. With my Vow Books, this made for a special heirloom feature photo that I simply cannot get enough of. This one was so fun for me, a true honor to work alongside a team of vendors with so much talent. Getting the creative juices flowing without needing client feedback was a unique experience, but one that I appreciate, as it allowed me to fully immerse myself into a design that was totally up to me.
